Apparently we've put in an approach for a Canterbury City striker. Not sure of the name or whether he's being earmarked for our first team or the reserves. Ties in with the fact that Robin Trott was seen studying a Canterbury programme on an away trip recently - thought that was a bit strange at the time.

Kent County League and are 12 points clear, scoring 49 goals, conceding 11 in 12 games.

Perhaps the theory is that if we have 5 strikers up front, they will score more goals than the defence can concede, looks like the obvious solution at the moment.

Their defence was usually suspect but by virtue of the fact that they scored more goals they generally did quite well. Perhaps Margate is adopting a Brazilian style of play.

In fairness, it may just be that RT is planning for next season,and i can see the sense in that.

Equally, if there is a player who has potential and MFC can build on that potential-equally good.

 

Niggling doubt that if we are building for next season-are we building for ryman south !!!!(not impossible)
