Could I make a plea for you to stand behind the covered end with us for 90 minutes. Last week we started singing when you walked off and we needed just 20/30 people there to make some real noise and drown out opposition support. The sound is good under the covered end and it creates a better atmosphere, sorry to keep going on, but there will be a few of us there anyway and extra noise would be appreciated. The view is still quite good from this end and of course dont forget we are nearer the bar!!!!!

However, I must admit, the atmosphere at the uncovered end is pretty poor.

Spread the word, lets try to get as many to stay at covered end for 90minutes and not give the opposition the chance to get behind their team. I fully understand the people who go behind the goal to watch the match but id rather make some noise, drown out the opposition and get behind our team.

That will happen when the crowd gathers and gets involved. I think the covered end makes a difference, we didnt hear the drum hit second half in the open. This week is the start of old times from beginning of season. Noise all round and packed terraces (hopefully). We will start some singing off and the drum will follow to keep it going. As many behind the goal for 90minutes and hopefully we will kick the right way this week as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr Drum makes a very good impact though, Keeps beat and keeps everybody singing for ages. The Drum is a cracking find from this season!!! I have a feeling this week will change very much!!!!!

Yes, I think I will stay in the covered end all game this week and not wander up to the Swancombe End like last week.

 

Please keep the noise up though...then I won't hear the moaning bastards who pissed me off in the second half last week !!
