Worst support

i've ever seen.

I know we didn't sing tonight as the 40 or so we had up there were spread around the ground but i have to say that is the worst support by home fans i have seen all season and includes most of last.

Not one song apart from 1 chant of "come on you stones!"

TRULY PATHETIC AND NO WONDER THEY NEVER CAME ON!

I am surprised at that, when we played them at the gate, their fans sang all the time

We tend to be a lot more vocal away from home, or if the oppo fans are also vocal which seems to spur us on to respond. Usually quite vocal at home when attacking the "bus stop" end as they are all gathered together in the small shelter. Always quiet at the other end as they tend to spread out more. Last night was probably about as dead as I have seen it at Bourne Park.

i know they have a good away following but to not sing at home is criminal

You saw the ground, now imagine having to go there 22+ times a season, for the last 5/6 years!

 

We'll sing if the oppo start to, but apart from that there's more atmosphere on the moon than our home games!

Shame for Maidstone, but at least they are still playing bearing in mind the rather traumatic past few years.
