I can see a parallel between the situation in which Billericay Town find themselves now and the situation in which Chelmsford City found themselves almost exactly three years ago.

 

Chelmsford City sacked their manager, Steve Moseley, in December 2004 at which time they were in the relegation zone. We appointed Craig Edwards as manager who brought in new players, the club losing just one of Craig's first 18 games - and that to the champions, Yeading - culminating in an 8th place finish.

Lets hope our caretaker management team and Matt Jones' eventual succesor can do at least as good a job for us.
