Well they scored more than we did obviously Kroons!

 

As a forum poster text me last night, we are getting more and more like Dream Team every week, never a dull moment.

 

We were 4 down after 30 mins with main midfielder having to come off after 5th minnute injury, then we started to play a bit and scored 2 goals, 4-2 at half time. Started the 2nd half far better and getting on top when from a corner our captain clashed with BG defender, nothing malicious, and collapsed with blood pouring from his mouth and couldnt move. Early indications seem broken nose, teeth and jaw with possibly broken ankle when he landed, only really half concious. Ambulance called and game held up for 20 mins. Just as we put him in ambulance a spectator collapsed in the stands. All rushed to him and was one of my midfielders dads who i believe had suffered heart attack. Lucky the ambulance was already there to be honest. I sent player off to go with his dad naturally.

 

2 subs made, team all over the shop really. If anyone thought the England national team gave the ball away a lot then that's nothing compared to us, totally shocking.

Surrey Senior Cup result from last night: Whyteleafe 0-0 AFC Wimbledon AET, Whyteleafe win on pens and I believe travel to the Krooner in the next round.

Bookham lost 1-0 to Redhill last night, not too disappointed as side weakend again (resting a couple and 2 with work).

 

A good game to watch I thought and played in a good sporting manner.

 

Ps the officials were very good !!!!

Whoops - thought you were already through!

Not missing a major pay day though, as not that many at Whyteleafe last night. Brown fields youngsters/fringe first teamers. Terrible game as well!!

Lost 0-1 at Corinthian-Casuals in London Cup.

Rare night off goalwise but enough chances to have won.

18 man melee ends with 1 player each sent off (wrong players).

Good pitch and plenty of grog. Very mild evening.

 

ps The ref was shocking!

Good news - players dad been released this morning, is fine and been told to take it easy.

Captain, amazingly, hasn't broken anything, god only knows how. His mouth is badly damaged, swollen and he cant speak. Being transferred to another hospital for them to assess.

Totally agree with Teffers comments. To be fair, Redhill should have had at least four.

Incidently Non-Stick - I had a word with Gordon in the bar before he left. He was very impressed !

Might have to make the long and arduous journey to Fetcham Grove for that one then

Could have a chance there - I saw Leatherhead last midweek against Croydon Athletic and they managed to concede 2 goals in the last 5 minutes to lose 3-2. Lots of new faces there. They had a promising looking frontman though, on loan from Dartford i think.
