What type of man-football man would say he was leaving at the end of the season with 11 games still to play-only one who wants to leave us in the mire-surely he knows the players won't be trying much if they know the managers leaving-so i guess that's the end of promotion then.

what would i do?-send him to the borders of kuwait that's what.

As he told me weeks ago when giving me a verbal dressing down for daring to have a match reporter publish 'Is he finally on his way?', he doesn't give a toss about the club, whether it gets promoted or relegated or bust for that matter.

We're better off without him, but we've still only got rid of half the problem.

How many of them will stay? Look at the changes made last summer? Look at the position the club hangs in again?

I know it's all negative, but I'm failing to see the light at the end of the tunnel here, unless anyone can enlighten me as to what it is?

I agree with Gary still no light at the end of the tunnel I am afraid. When/If Browne leaves there will be an exodus of players, some we can afford to lose, some we cant. I reckon that obviously Ricky Browne will go and that means that his mates will leave too, such as Byron Bubb, Palmer and Spencer, to name just a few, plus hasn`t Barras already said he was leaving at the end of the season? Plus I can`t really see Boot sticking around in the Ryman league for much longer....

I f Browne does leave at the end of the season it might make the players more likley to stay rather than leave!! I know that obviously Ricky will trya dn take all his mates with him but i think we (the fans) need to show the players that its the manager that we want gone not them. I know that we will probably be in the same situation as a few summers ago with no players and now no manager. But if we look on the bright side if the squad and all stayed the same and browne went there are enough desent players and a few potential managers within the squad for us to have a good cahnce in whatever league we end up in!

Gary, time to be bitchy with the boss! Given that he has spoken to the press telling them he is on his way, it would be wrong for this not to be reported in the programme, a la weeks ago which got the buffoon in such a strop. Except you could be a bit more creative and use Chris Sliski's quote that we'll believe it when we see it, can the man keep his word sort of thing.

It's not me who does the programme BFR. I know the programme for Saturday games is printed on a Thursday, so the one for Tilbury is already done. No mention of it in Roy's column, although I'm sure we could manage something for the next programme.

Something like, Thank god he's finally leaving?

I was thinking that you could arrange a petition 'We want Steve Browne to stay', just to prove how little support he really has...

...unfortunately, I suspect that this could backfire badly unless the people who sign it realise we actually DON'T want him to stay!
