And they have have every right to...They're top of the league. We would do the same. In fact some of us have, especially last season (maybe not on this forum). Some of us were planning weekenders in the event the Weston game was on a weekend. I was certainly looking forward to a weekend trip to Dorcester altho, despite the journey time, is in my predictive top five "pig of a journey to make on a Saturday to watch BTFC" (perhaps Mrs. C and I could make that a weekender as well when we get to play at that level - we know a very nice pub in Piddletrenthyde - I think that is how you spell it).

 

The fact is at present Chelmsford are in the driving seat for the league title but as I said about relegation to those that dived into the deep blue sea of football depression on Saturday, "no team has ever won the league or been relegated from the league in November or December".

 

Speculation is all part of our football heritage. The question "what if?" is as long as it is short when asked when discussing the subject of events and future of anything connected to the sport.

I think we all know that December is only mid season, and so cheer up peeps!!!

 

Both Billericay and Chelmsford have to fight the demons off before this season is over!!!!

But we do have a more 'get stuck in' squad then last year. Last year we couldn't ever have come back from being behind twice, as at Staines, it just wouldn't have happened........
