Little bit like last night's Sydney FC 5-3 win over LA Galaxy in a friendly last night.'Not too friendly though with Galaxy player sent off for stomping on the arm of an opponent.

Beckham played the full 90 minutes despite an ankle injury in the 25th minute...scored signature goal fro free kick.

Star of the first half was Sydney FC's Juninho (Brazilian World Cup and Middlesborough player)with great vision and outstanding through balls.

there is a mistake on the official website. It states that last night's match was Middlesex Charity Cup and that the game in two weeks time is also #Middlesex Charity Cup. Obviously one in the Senior Cup.

A very good display from town (apart from going to sleep in defence in the second half). Good to see Ricci getting fit again with a nice brace! If Darren Grieves had put away half the chances he had we'd have had a cricket score!

 

The goal from Mad Max was so sweet - Crossed by Luke Marshall. A simple manoeuvre but executed with great simplicity and skill! Obviously a great understanding between the two lads.

i thought it was an og, but then I was at the other end of the pitch. thought that we played well, although they weren't much at all. pitch not great either, some interesting bobbles. thought charlie could have kept their shot out, but all in all a good performance. planes very low over head, but at least it meant that you couldn't hear our bench....
