No,first I'd heard of it.

 

They may get some people from MyFC disgruntled with the choice of a home counties club, but my guess is that they won't raise enough money to proceed. (Just seen that Jimmy reckons such people started the whole thing off - very likely.)

 

I could be wrong, but my feeling is that, for better or worse, we are the club that got there 1st & there won't be any others for a while yet. The FA on their website express the view that the MyFC model could be the shape of things to come for football clubs. Now, while my leftwise leanings (& my membership of MyFC) incline me towards applauding such a view, I am brought down to earth by calling to mind the FA's sagacity (or not) in its appointment of England managers.

I doubt these people are former MyFC members disillusioned with the choice of club - this site was up and running before Ebbsfleet was announced.

It Would seem biased no matter where the ground had been purchased, maybe they could have bought 20,000 teams, at £27.50 each

Ive heard of it, and I dont trust it - Ive read their info and it doesnt appear to have been well thought out - a quote direct from their site: "Once we have bought and own the right football club, we will immediately start a search for a new manager..."

Just want to let people know that there are some serious question marks over this website -

 

A memebr of MyFC has been keeping an eye on developments and has posted links to two photographs both claiming to be the same person but with different people in the phototgraphs. It now appears that the photograph for a second individual has also changed
