Dover (if successful) have a juicy tie also, at home though to Michaelmichaels favourites(apart from MFC of course), Forest Green Rovers.Two tough ties but potentially big money spinners.

Tonbridge likewise will rake in some cash but thats all they will do I'm afraid.Cant see them securing anything near to a result,even the draw,at Oxford(sorry Jane,but I just can't see it).How bigger an incentive do you need after hearing that?

I would've loved a trip to Halifax, they have a nice ground lol. Grays get Lewis again as well.

 

Also I dunno if anyone noticed but had we still be in both FA competions we still wouldn't have had a home tie as Weymouth (FA Cup) and Leamington (FA Trophy) are away again.

Yep-live near FGR ,but you never take the Margate out of the boy, and whilst i do go to see FGR occasionally ,its not the same as watching Margate;where you live and breathe every kick.

 

One thing though- conference national football is on a completely different planet these days to Ryman standard; albeit, i don't think there is much difference between conference south and Ryman.

 

More money for Tonbridge at Oxford.

We'd better get out of this league this season before Tonbridge buy their way out next season

Teams like Oxford United in the conference would consider the FA Trophy less important because they used to be a league club and are more determined on promotion.

 

Teams like Grays Athletic will win the Trophy because they establish themselves as a top non-league club, and it is a non-league competition.
