It's easy to take The Bends for granted after all the great stuff that's followed, but on listening to it the other day I was reminded just how much I love it - particularly Fake Plastic Trees and Street Spirit (quite possibly their finest album closer)

I have to agree on Idioteque - my personal favourite on that album, along with How To Disappear Completely.

JC and I have discussed "the other two". I believe he agreed with me that they didn't merit inclusion... wink

Hilarious, Stu. The correct wink order is in fact:

OK Computer
In Rainbows
Kid A
The Bends
Amnesiac
Hail To The Thief
Pablo Honey

In truth, my order of preference changes (albeit with OK Computer always top and Pablo Honey always bottom), but this is how it stands at the moment.

For Thursday's match vs. Woking, will it be on BBC Kent or will it be on another BBC channel that can be accessed on the Internet?

I have the link for BBC Kent, but if it isn't there, any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: To return to the topif of Radiohead, I've never been a big fan, but I've really enjoyed In Rainbows. Since some of you guys rate it pretty highly, which other Radiohead discs should I pick up?

If you liked In Rainbows you may well enjoy OK Computer

My two favourites on that album smile
Street Spirit is one of the finest Radiohead songs ever

The number one Radiohead song for me, out of everything they have done, is Talk Show Host

A fine song indeed.

I used to say my favourite was Paranoid Android, but on reflection I don't think I really have one song above all others - there's just too many contenders (the songs I've mentioned, Pyramid Song, No Surprises...) and it changes all the time.

I'm going to get onto MyFC and see if we can get Radiohead to sponsor the shirts. They could do half-time entertainment and Thom Yorke could join Chas in the commentary box, their drummer could go and help our very own DrummerScott and the other three blokes could be stewards.

Inflammatory comment there, Stu! Check out Ed's backing vocals on the new album, Colin's fantastic bass-lines (15 Step, Airbag) and I think it may be an imprisonable offense to call Jonny 'another bloke'!

On the debate about the best Radiohead album:

OK Computer 10
In Rainbows 9.5
Kid A 9
The Bends 8
Hail to the Thief 8
Amnesiac 7.5
Pablo Honey 5

(Marks out of 10, not 5)

I will certainly be trying to buy tickets - previous failed attempts (although I did see them at Glasto in 2003) haven't deterred me.

Dates and venues now announced - see the thread in 'The Pub' (well resurrected, Hannah - I thought it'd be rude not to reciprocate with the thread on here smile )

Best of luck to all those who join the massive scrum for tickets.
