.... is going to comment on yesterdays cup meeting against Newport County, I thought it was a good game.

 

A fair result. W & E had their chances but the cross bar was a yard or so too low !!

 

It really should have been 3-2 or 4-2.

 

I thought the No 16 that came on for County as sub looked pretty useful.

 

Again, a lovely day out even if somewhat chilly at Stag Meadow.

 

GREAT hospitality and nice to have brief chats with friends and a couple of fellow posters !

i thought the performance was a class above last tuesdays which was great to see, and i actually felt gutted at the end having felt that windsor had the better chances through out.

it was just a shame they couldn't find the second goal which i think would have killed them off. seedel and kendall were superb as well, especially considering that it was their first game as a partner ship and seedel's a striker!

lloyd opara should be an asset when fully fit as well. just unfortunate he couldn't bury his chances yesterday

 

never mind. bring on marlow on tuesday!

Gutted to lose but with a patchwork side we did fantastic. If only we took our chances early in the second half. I didn't think Newport looked two leagues above us must of been a bad day for them.

 

I must say i enjoy the new cosy lighting in the Bar. Pints by Candle light is the way forward!!

thought we made a real good account of ourselfs and showed we can play at a higher level, if only these cup preformances came in the league, we would be in a lot healthier league posistion.

 

opra look really good once he gets match fitness up i think he and chenns will make a fantastic pairing that will scare any defence in the league
