This looked like a potential banana skin for the leaders, but the home side were outclassed by the Merstham boys.

 

The Chertsey Can Brigade (I thought alcohol was not allowed outside the clubhouse?) were very hostile,good job that their players took no notice of the baying crowds cry of "break their f***ing legs!" Nice chaps. Awful pitch and bar with no draught beer.

 

The four goals were worth the six quid and the gift from the Merstham keeper was a nice touch, Chertsey never looked like scoring otherwise.

 

Merstham were without Vernon and Greenhouse as well, awesome.
