Yeterday proved once again that no cover at the Railway End means no atmosphere when we kick that way.

Second half "noise" seemed to keep team going.

WHEN WILL THE BOARD LISTEN to the paying supporters who get soaked down that end ?

 

 

 

All we hear is ....."it's on the list".

The board say they may sanction Railway end covering IF we get promoted (and then only after work to meet ground grading has been done).

If you read the e-mail that the club sent out it said that a cover was on the list but other ground improvements would have to take priority IF we get promoted. It wasn't very well worded though. Thing is, there will be more chance pf promotion IF we can improve the atrmosphere for the whole 90 minutes.

I'm sorry but it is not on their priority list. I'd like the cover but I think they will just duck and dive on this one! I'd be delighted to be proved wrong on this!

Like I said in an earlier posting, we do have most of the materials for the Cover. What is needed is the materials for the base ie: Ballast, Sand, Cement oh and yes the LABOUR. We need to get the Base done first obviously, but as the weather is so bad at the moment we can't make a start on it.

It will get done, just not right now.
