thanks for the answer Bitch, which clarifies how and why the club approached Gussy, and its refreshing to see a player prepared to make a few personal sacrifices to play for his new club, but its still not clear why Gussy chose to say yes.

 

I am sure mrc junior has tried to lure many a player down to Meadowbank but not always with the right result.

 

Gussy is a proven scorer and loyal Wembley player taking the regrading demotions on the chin and yet has chosen the chicks above what must have been a plethora of offers from higher clubs.

 

I am wondering, is this a heroic last stand in support of friends and family, or are we about to see a renaissance at the club, with Gussy (and a few other recent decent looking signings)leading the way forward?
