Well little doubt about result of the day this week. A good win for Royston Town.

Mind you I see Kentish 'not going to lose again this season ' Town did. I am sure the explanation will be lively.

Explanation will be on the match thread shortly and yes it will be lively, just to say Mr Panayotiou was not to blame!

We were poor yesterday and I dropped a clanger for Royston's first goal so didn't help ourselves much. Apparently the starting 11 all signed on in the last 10 days from Buntingford (who are 2nd in te Herts County League.) I guess thats why they couldn't fulfil their fixture against Oxhey in the week. One of the better sides I've seen so far in Div 1 and they will climb the table. Plus the pitch at Royston is a great leveler when the weather gets worse

I think you'll find that Royston Town will be nearer the top of division 1 come April than the bottom, anyway it wasn't exactly a surprise result of Hereford v Newcastle proportions particularly at Garden Walk. I made the result of the day Sport London e Benfica beating Buckingham Athletic.

How about Hertford's six goal win a Tring? Previously only lost once at home, and would have been only two points behind Hertford had they won, Tring are hardly rabbits!

Horace - I don't recall calling Tring Athletic rabbits, that won't happen until we meet them at home next season

I never accused you of calling them rabbits. I was "bigging up" our win by pointing out that they weren't rabbits - ie not a team you would expect to get six against. They won their previous home game 7-0 !

We identified Hertford a little while ago as major contenders (favourites indeed) for the title this year. It is theirs to lose and for the rest of us to aspire to. They are good and I fully expect them to be there at the end of the campaign.

Even though it's a long way to go, our next two fixtures (away at Chlfont St Peter and then Hanwell) are pretty tasty!
