Results today - Newport win...

I haven't seen them all yet but I do know that Newport IOW won their first game of the season today, 2-1 at AFC Hayes.

 

Abingdon United beat Farnborough 3-2.

Things have to change now! The management has had enough time to implement its squad and prove itself. 16 league games, 3 wins is not good enough. How much longer do they deserve to stay in charge?

Well I gave him up till the 18th Dec but with Newport IOW picking up points and us down to 20th maybe there needs to be something done sooner rather than latter?

i would be very surprised if their isnt a change in management by next saturday IMHO especially if we lose to hillingdon on tuesday

I think Wilko has had long enough to be honest.

 

The longer the situation drags on, the more people will stay away from games and the more likely we are to get relegated. We cannot afford to get relegated because of the ground grant situation.

 

Therefore action needs to be taken this week IMO, even if we manage to beat Hillingdon on Tuesday, which is a MUST WIN GAME.

 

We need a run of wins, but sadly under Wilkinson we do not look like picking up a point at the moment.

This will be the first real test of the clubs new management team to see if they have the balls to take the tough decisions when it realy matters?

 

Some will say give him more time as he has been a loyal servant of the club and others have already shown there views by staying away.

how would we know? with the finances the way they are who could we afford to do a better job, i hear there is a mr mclaren who is recently unemployed and got a decent pay off from his last employment post, might be willing to give it a go for a meagre wage!

There were 287 paying spectators, and over 100 freebies (tickets issued to ex-players, committee etc) as part of our centenary celebrations.

Whilst in his time as manager Darron Wilkinosn has only picked up 16 points out of a potential 111 therefore only having a sucsess rate of 14%.

 

As a comparison "simple" Simon Lane at windsor who has been in the job for a similar length of time has achived over the same time period a sucsess rate of 40% by picking up 40 points out a potential 99.

 

Darren Wilkinson has also ensured that Slough Town FC are out of ALL cup compertitions at the first round this year, how many cups are windsor still in?
