I would want prawn sandwiches before central heating.

Poor turn out from the directors. This will basically be internet banter with a load of deluded twats who have paid money for something they have no real say in.

I morally oppose the idea 100% but the more I think about it, the better it sounds.

Hirsty, try to keep up............The American owners have their very own Soccer Football vocabulary!

I believe,"nice go on the second half", as meaning nice effort, good Soccer Football.
You will have to succumb get used to a few strange sayings that will arise.
Soccer, instead of Football.
Half 1 and half 2 , instead of the first and second half.
PK, instead of Penalty Kick.
Round whatever, instead of week whatever, for ordinary League Games. This saying originates from American Rugby Football where their eventual two League winners play in the Cup Final Super Bowl!

confused You will be!

1st half, I thought Stafford were poor and didnt look like getting near our goal, but 2nd half they did look much sharper going forward and Grayson got a decent goal.

I didnt think we'd get back in it until George got that crackerjack goal - as Liam said, it wasnt dissimilar to his second on Tuesday against Ramsgate. And Stacey's finish for the second goal was half bad either!

Actually, several of us commented on Tuesday that it was good to see more shots at goal, and that was repeated today - we do have some good strikers of the ball in the team - Long, Purcell and Bostwick in particular so lets keep firing those shots at goal - it brought 2 goals today and several other efforts werent far off either.

Let's get out there & kick some ass!

mr genius...I am most concerned about the signature that you are using...not only is it in the same illiterate mode as roll as opposed to role but it is also indicative of cruelty to animals.....perhaps you could see your way clear to changing it before the grays branch of the rspca knock on your door...

thanx... doggy

Well said Deluded Twat! You should go far, a lot of out regulars should have been committed years ago! smirk

Yes the team got 3 points today and sadly I suppose a win is still a win but ......

Yet despite all the hype over the last week or so, it still doesn't hide the teams deficiencies. Lets face it todays game saw a poor side getting 3 points from a 'pub' side who fully deserve their position in the league and will go down at the end of the season. Nothing up front, nobody taking control in midfield, and a defence that, if they had been playing against a better team would have also looked very ordinary.

If I read anywhere on this forum again that the 'Fleet are playing the best football ever seen at Stonebridge Road and as such deserve higher attendances, I'll scream! Even part-time in the old Southern League Premier was better.

Without a doubt what was served up this afternoon was very poor and was probably one of the poorest performances for many a season anyone that thinks otherwise, either have a very short memory or are totally deluded.

John - it wasnt that poor, for goodness sake! I think you're the one with a short memory. The old Southern League days with players like Steve Browne, Brian Woolfe, and Dave Bostock may have good memories, but the quality certainly wouldnt have been as high as it is these days.

You really are getting to be rather boring, trotting out moan upon moan about MyFc, the performances, etc - if it really is that poor, go and watch Charlton every week instead as its bound to be better quality. In fact, you may as well go and support Arsenal or Man Utd, as it cant get much better than those two clubs, can it ??

Today may not have been the greatest football in the world, but I've seen us play a heck of a lot worse (how about the Stafford performance (or rater non performance) last year, justfor starters.
