I suppose that's a better excuse than washing your hair but clearly you are not a genuine Brimsdown Rovers fan. I have just predicted a 3-1 win for Brimsdown but it depends which way the wind is blowing where Kingsbury's performance is concerned.

Mr. Rhodes, I am as much a fan of Brimsdown as you are of Haringey Borough. I've given a very good reason as to why I can't make the game today. My face is covered in tiny squares of tissue paper. If there was the slight chance of a crowd turning up at the Silver Jubilee they would to coin a phrase 'rip the piss out of me'. Instead I will be watching the scores come in on Ceefax while reading the James Whale autobiography, and feasting on a Ginsters cornish pasty.

Do you have Sky tv as you could also watch Jeff Stelling, Tony Cottee, Nigel Spackman and co strut their stuff on Gillette Soccer Saturday. Incidentally Football Man is also a big fan of James Whale.

I wasn't aware that Football Man was a fan of James Whale., although in his defence I've never spoken to him. Football Man has such a large physical presence that it scares me to even look in his direction. I do have the aforementioned satellite broadcasting package, although for some reason Brimsdown results don't appear on there.

I once mentioned that I was listening to James Whale on a late night journey home from a game and he had some rather derogatory remarks to make about people who allow their children to wander around the streets alone after dark and I felt it appropriate that clip Rods should know, given that he falls into such a category of person. From that simple statement, clip Rods has managed to get it into his head (well, there's plenty of space there to be honest) that I am a "fan".

You've met Football Man then, I once described his as a man who never smiles and comes across as someone with the weight of the World on his broad shoulders, he has never forgotten this and has held it against me ever since.

Yes that just about sums him up in one, like I've said I don't dislike him but he takes himself far too seriously and should lighten up a bit more. It's exactly the same with the likes of Lato, Spidermanor and to a lesser degree Horace, they're all like peas in a pod.

Perhaps but Football Man was associated with Potters Bar Town up until recently (note past tense) and is still highly respected in non league circles right up to Conference level despite not being associated with any particular Club these days. That's still no reason though not to crack a smile from time to time and actually give out the impression he is enjoying life, I honestly can't make him out.

Like I said I don't dislike you, it's you who seems to have the problem with me. I strongly believe that this is purely on the back of me joining forces with Kentish Town who you sadly have an intense dislike for due to the ill fated groundshare at Parkfield in 2005/2006 which showed you in a bad light and you went down in a lot of people's estimation for the appalling way you treated us. If I was with any other Club I'm sure you would be fine as you were when I was at Haringey, right or wrong!

Why on earth would Kentish Town get rid of me, since our ill fated groundshare at Parkfield where important lessons were learned we have gone from strength to strength and next season we will be in the Premier Division and hopefully the Ryman League Division 1 North in 2008/2009, it's what's known as progress.

I'm not sure whether Ruislip Manor have found a new Secretary as yet but I never received the curtesy of a reply to my application which was disappointing, I don't envy the successful applicant as I believe there are problems at Grosvenor Vale which Lato, Spidermanor and Manorborn purposely haven't shared with us.

As I am no longer Match Secretary there is no requirement for me to be at all Kentish Town first team games, home or away, as the high profile painting exhibition at City Hall proved on the same evening of the Hoddesdon fixture at Lowfield. For your information, seeing how you're so interested in my movements, I may be travelling with the reserve team to Broxbourne Borough on Saturday.
