Medway's Scallywags

I see Gillingham are making early preparations for eventual relegation to the Blue Square Conference by the signing of a number of players from Stimson's old clubs.

Even 'Fleet fans 'favourite' Adam Miller has managed to get himself a loan spell, with a view to a permanant signing in the transfer window.

I would suggest even more reason to hate Gillingham FC?

Before long they will have more ex-Fleet players than Margate....

Adam Miller, John Nutter, Denis Oli and Mark Bentley.

Cast ya minds back... Scally wanted to build a new 'super-stadium' in Gravesend to share with Gills... He proposed a 30,000 all seater stadium.... MyFC members now total about 25,000 plus the away fans would equal about 30,000.... Coincidence? The Truth Is Out There - and if it isn't, we can always make something up!!

As for the bet involving the Gills, it's a "value 5-folds/6-fold perm"

Aston Villa 6/4

Cardiff 11/8

Gillingham 7/5

AFC Telford 4/5

Harrogate Town 5/4

Chester 11/8

Had this up twice in 3 weeks before today so if they lose, "can't win them all" is the answer.....

My main treble is on us, Rotherham and Barnet.

FF, Luvapunt but what the hell is a "value 5-folds/6-fold perm"?
Thanks

Lol, it's just the name I give it.

All it means is not backing sides like Chelsea at 1/4 away from home. Quite simply, 1/4 is no value.

6 x 5-folds & 1 x 6-fold = 7 bets.

So you got to get at least 5 out of 6 to win.

Stuck with AFC Telford, they cost me bigtime away at Barrow last weekend losing 4-0.....

5 out of 5 today and I may offset some of the bet on the Chester not winning their match on the Sunday.

I wisely did that for Bolton vs Middlesboro 2 weeks ago (I had 5 out of 5 on the Saturday - Bolton to win would have meant a total of £1600 back, so I used £700 to back the draw & Middlesbrough. This meant I had an overall PROFIT of £900 to come back no matter the outcome. Bolton didn't win!)

Same again a few days later 5 out of 5 on the tuesday, Livingston v Partick the next night - they lost 0-4 and I didn't care!

Heh heh heh..... maybe smile

Like I said it was a wise move. The 5 out of 5 gave £211 guaranteed, with a potential £1600 max.

All I did was guarantee myself somewhere between the 2 amounts, rather than sweat on the 6th match.

£700 seems a large amount but it was split between the odds of the other 2 outcomes. It was insurance, rather than settling for just the £211.

No different to laying on Betfair really.

Maybe we should flash the MyFC cash at Bentley, Charlie and the Beast, that would keep old and new fans happy and give us the goals we need to climb the league.
Don't let Jimmy get his hands on the budget though we don't want to see Tostao back again. smile

Jimmy would waste it all on a flair XI of his favourite briefly very skilful players:

Tostao, the Moose, Louis Evans, Nick Hegley, Hamid Barr... anymore?
