In todays paper it says Jay is also ruled out of tomorrows game with a possible small fracture in the base of his back, a big blow. Justin will be out for a further 3 weeks due to floating bone in his foot. Charlie could be crocked for up to 3 months after his nose operation.

Trotty also says had a centre half coming on loan from Brentford but they have now pulled plug on it becauser of injuries there. He is hoping to get a couple of players in by the end of next week.

At least Ricay seem to have a few injuries too so I am sticking to my win forecast on the Prediction League...............probably mad I know but I have to show the faith in the lads. smile

I am sure he is trying hard, but it is nearly always 'tomorrow 'and 'hoping' with RT is'nt it.

His languaging is very languid, which is how he seems to approach things.

I hope someone in the club starts holding him seriously accountable and manages the Manager.

I am sure there are other clubs apart from Brentford who have players available on loan.

Of course, we do not know the length of any proposed loan, but if RT is ever successful in getting a centre half on loan(say one month) what happens at the end of that month. Will our defence be so much better in a months time.Still ,if ever he does deliver what he promises, it will at least buy a bit of time i guess.

It seems as though RT is happy with the right back situation as it is.Interesting.

The injuries are nothing exceptional-you would expect to have 2/3 players out at any one time, and a player suspended,so we are no different there.

Simple fact is that RT assembled a squad in the summer with too many forwards, and we are now paying the price. He said at start of season,he was happy with that squad-he was wrong.

he would not admit his errors early enough -and has simply left the search too late.

However, maybe he can prove his value by coaching the existing squad to success-thats the other way-and its what a really good manager would do.Lets hope he can
