Why do we insist on taking quick frre kicks? Happens about twice a game and are never successful, so why waste possession?

 

Our short corners are spectacularly unnsuccessful as well.

 

Am I wrong? Has either tactic worked.

set plays generally are bad. Its very rare one of our defenders scores with their head. Bubb has put a couple of free kicks into the net direct (including on for the tv cameras) as Gilkes did the same against Wingate. We're just not very good in the air, at either end.

I seem to remember that we were sucessful with some quick free kicks earlier in the season - when Veli was about. On the other hand we have never been sucessful with a short corner at a game I have attended.
