....ha ha ha ha...'ere...crikey...me ol' ticker wus goin' overtime there wonnit.....two micky mouse penalties and the goal of the season from jonah on 'is birthday....ha ha ha...39 years of age an' still runnin' 'em ragged....heart like a lion and an urchin badge twice the size on 'is shirt....brilliant jonah me ol' son...brilliant....

 

dunt take nufink away from the rest of 'em either...superb strong performance from everyone of 'em against a team that will not go down...new manager and eight new players tonight...just our luck....but if anyone else in the top six 'as got 'em to play...wotch out now...different team....nice bunch an' all...good luck to 'em....

 

so...three points an the ol' uncle orf to the quack in the morning to get some betablockers...ha ha ha ha...'ere...is they the same as viagra then or wot.....cor blimey...keep them urchinettes away from me....me ol' ticker wuldn't take it....ha ha ha ha...

Ok Uncle, I can't shy away, my pride has taken a bashing but I've jsut about enough humility to take the rebel bashing on the chin. We were dire, the side we put out looked more like a reserve team. Apparently a load of our players have got the flu, so unless one of them has picked up the Hong Kong bug I'm pretty sceptical about that as nobody has been off work with flu for weeks!

 

Its no defence (watch out for the upcoming amazing pun) but we didn't have any of our first choice defensive line up last night, plus two other defenders out as well. Take out the keeper, sammy winston and even the anti-sammy (bloke who browne brought in recently who has started ahead of sammy) and you could say we were a little under strength.

 

Won't take anything away from Wingate, they deserved their victory, and the team and their 4 fans will remember the victory for some time. For the rebels, its just another massive let down after getting ourselves nicely set up.

 

Well done to your boys, I know there are still 11 games to go but if this is what Slough are going to be like for even one of those matches then I expect Hornchurch to finish above us.

I was just thinking that myself, where is everybody??? Haven't seen anything of that comic genius a.stone, or should that actually be a.hole?? Not surprising really though I suppose, I see that they are now propping up the "current form" table. Oh well, what goes around comes around. All I am hoping for now is those in-bred pikkies to get a thrashing in the Essex cup final to really give me a good laugh!

nice one fatboy...you'll bounce back...i've been missing today because I had to go out begging to get the wages ready for next month......terrible pressure I live under...cor blimey no wunder ,e barneys goin grey....dunt know about the rest of 'em...maybe they've all been conscripted....more likely savouring the results from last night....(ressies lost 1-0 to a full strength canvey tonight by the way lads...some cup or other...should know really...sorry)....anyway...nice and peaceful we all are bfr...gettin our shredded nerves back together for saturdays revenge extraction against east thurrock....

 

a good nights sleep and I'll be back with multiple nondeplumes to torment you all in the morning...!!!!!

well...after the dust has settled...what a bloody good night on tuesday....its nights like that under the floodlights that make you realise how exciting football at this level actually can be....250 in the crowd...very very noisy...(I wound the band up a bit more than usual.)...and all very friendly and good banter between both camps...can't beat it really can you....

 

as for the game...well...agree with some of the posts...it wasn't pretty but we can hardly expect it to be at this stage of the season especially with it all being so tight at the top...have to say though that whoever suggested that he might not come back on saturday because we played poorly is not really our cup of tea and obviously doesn't understand whats going on...those players were sent out onto that pitch to do one thing and one thing only...win 3 points...they did that and therefore we should be proud of them....

 

anyway...everyone is entitled to an opinion I suppose and there will always will be floaters and such like in the game so...no point in getting upset over the comments....we'll just get on with it urchins and support the 'not pretty' team whilst they keep getting the points..

 

another nerve shredder on saturday no doubt...(can we have just one game please where we go 4 or 5 in front early)...

as to the others...let them keep dropping points...we only need to worry about ourselves from now on in and we go up...its in our hands...great stuff boys...keep it up....
