Its good to see Steve Browne lead by example again by taking it easy on the bench.

When will he get his ar*e into gear and give us a chance of going up

At the rate we are droping points we will have to watch out for relegation rather than promotion

Why he pulled Rav off when he was having a good game I dont know

P.S. I hear Saddam Hussain is coming to Slough as he knows that we all hate Browne more

Browne OUT !!!!!!

With 6 players out with flu, it was always going to be difficult---but the performance was still poor. Not one save by the Wingate keeper (though Boot had a shot cleared off the line), Andy Deaner tried hard, but was so ineffective that after half time Wingate gave up marking him at goalkicks, and a tendancy to pass the ball backwards were my main memories from this match.

One big difference between the teams was their willingness to take on defenders, and our lack of will to do the same---with a few of our bettere players missing, the ones who remain were clearly very ordinary. If only we had a manager who knew how to get the best out of a bad situation.

Just hope that saturday is a lot better--it isn't over yet, but the pressure to win every match is now on.

I'll go to sleep really gutted tonight. I know there were injuries etc but 0-3 AT HOME !!! especially is disastrous. Hate to say it but I can't really see us going up now, we have so called 'easy games' left but Wingate was one of those easy games...

With us only picking up 2 points out of the 9 that have been available I hope Browne is being paid by the point.

We should have won both of the draws, and last nights fiasco was just throughing points away.

On a positive note I thought the Ref was excelent and one of the best we have had this season.

Without meaning to sound like Private Frazer from Dad's Army, I've got to say our hopes for promotion are doomed.

I have several questions, none of which will probably get answered but here they are anyway.

1. Sammy didn't start at Hemel because of 'flu'. If he really had flu why then was he able to travel with the squad and potentially pass on those germs. I must say he didn't exactly look under the weather when he ran the Hemel defence ragged and should have bagged us the points.

2. Six of our players were not about last night because of 'flu'. (Steve Daly, Adrian Blake, Byron Bubb, Sammy Winston, Ian Hodges, Adrian Brown) Are they really unwell or is the fan paranoia over unpaid wages pointing in the right direction.

3. We printed that 'programme' last night to save money. Are the coffers running on empty once again?

I'd like to think that we can still make second, but having taking just 2 points from 3 must wins games I'm pretty sceptical.
