What fundraiser is that?

EFM are raising money for a young girl from Canvey Island who has leukaemia.

 

The idea is, we're going to match penny-for-penny, the amount we spend on booze going down on the train to Canvey, and donate the equivalent amount to her fund.

 

There's about ten of us doing it, so hopefully we'll raise a decent amount of cash for her.

Maybe we should add a little competiveness to it all, by publishing a top 3 table to see who can drink and spend the most in one day. That should give Zealster and the Voice an added interest and increase the contribution to this worthy cause.

The Non-League Paper will be reporting on the EFM/Candy Bloomfield Sponsorship in this Sunday's paper, and are coming to St Albans tonight to take a group photo of all of us in the pub.

 

Hopefully everyone involved in the sponsorship will be able to make it tonight (except Laz, who's getting his hair cut! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )

I'll be there. Burberry and all? Scarves round faces, heads covered, not wearing the City colours, proving we're (at least, I'm a) real hooligan(s).

I thought only Zeal, Sherwood and myself owned Burberrys, whilst Thornsy had some tea cosy made in some sweat shop in Aldersh#t, where employees get 2p for every tea cosy they make?
