first game that i've been able to see for a while, lets hope we have agood night at the staduim and elsewhere as well, (other results going our way i mean)

if we can win against leyton and the others slip up we can go five points clear of third,

Should be wishful thinking, I don't see Slough slipping up against Wingate & Finchley. Will be interesting to see what happens in the Uxbridge Hemel game..... wonder if Hemel have got any players left who aren't suspended?

don't underestimate wingate either...not strong but skilful...come to think about it...they'll suit you guys 'cos they'll try to play the ball on the ground...nice people..nice club....

They're pretty mean on their travels, think they've only conceded 23 goals so far, but at the same time only scored 23. This is the sort of match we should win and win well. I didn't see too much of the game at their ground because of some clever dick closing part of the A40 and only made it there for the last 25. I'm not going to underestimate this team but should we play well they should fit into the category of GWR, Leyton Pennant and Wivenhoe as teams we've demolished at home

Hemel may actually bring two fans with them to Uxbridge tonight, given its just down the road from Slough. Can't see there being any problems at the Slough match though, Wingate aren't exactly blessed with a huge following.

And yes it had crossed my mind that ex-rebel Danny Bailey could do the boys at Wexham Park a big favour tonight by masterminding a Leyton P victory. Plenty to talk about in the morning I'm sure...

we've always said that there aint no 'mugs' (cor blimey its catchin') in this division and Leyton Pennant aint coming over hear to make up the numbers...they've just changed managers we understand and also brought in a few new faces so...you know the score...they'll be up for it....its not about them is it...its up to us all in the top six to keep doing what we have to do....

 

I've got a funny feeling that tonight might yield a few surprises..

I think that your friend and mine, The Rabbit is to blame, he manages to get a mug at every ground he goes to.

 

I'm not convinced there will be too many surprises tonight, I've got the Urchins, Uxbridge and ourselves down for home wins, and the Stones losing yet again wouldn't be allowed on the pools because it would be a waste of a number.
