Welcome to my first post and there's no better time for me to start than when FA Vase football comes to the county again.

Tomorrow Torpoint Athletic await the arrival of Billingham Synthonia, who surely must be making the longest trip of the round.

The Vase has always meant something very special to the Cornish football followers, even before Truro City won it at the new Wembley in 2007, we were getting more than excited with the exploits of mainly Falmouth Town, St Blazey and Porthleven.
