The SSML Are Very Lucky To Have Wembley FC.

Recommended Posts

Been to Wembley FC a few times over the years and i have to say its one of the best step 5 grounds I have been to. Very good stands, a lovely modern clubhouse, a GREAT PITCH and I have to say the club produce a very nice programme. I will definitely try and get down to Vale Farm next season to give Wembley FC some support.

Enjoy!

Lovely set up. Great addition. Will they be one of the favourites to go up?

What are their attendances like?

Well they had a decent season last season finishing 9th.

I would say that there average attendance is around 50. For me the ground is not in one of the nicest parts of the world which I think effects there attendances a bit. But the ground, clubhouse and pitch deserve better attendances Wembley FC is a superb set up and I hope they do well next season.

Been to Vale Farm quite a few times, the area isn't that bad, not by inner London standards anyway. Good pub five minutes walk away in Harrow Road, The Swan.

I assume that South Kilburn still play on the Vale Farm site

South Kilburn have asked the CCL to have their resignation withdrawn at the AGM which takes place on Sunday at Imber Court. I believe one or two clubs will be seeking certain reassurances regarding the SK ground and facilities before voting.

As for Wembley, whilst most CCL clubs wont miss the journey (especially midweek), I have to say that the pitch, facilities and team will be a credit to the SSML and I, personally, will miss my visits to Vale Farm and my chats with Ian Bates and co. They will, certainly, be a challenger next season and their own reduced travel headaches may allow them some good signings in 2014/15.

Don't be surprised to see one of the SSML Cup Finals being played there next season.  :)

Division 1 should be good next season shouldn't it with London Club's Edgware Town, Southall, Wembley and possibly Kentish Town

Still out of the loop Mr Rhodes - Wembley will be playing in the PREMIER Division

Only one Club is London.

Two are Middlesex and the other is Hertfordshire.

1 out of 4 isn't bad though.
